This was a test run before I made one up with the stenciled design element. This pattern looked easy yet I had a lot of trouble with the construction. I think the main problem was with the fabric - the main fabric was so soft and nice but also had a lot of give and slip, whereas the ribbing was heavy with little stretch. The cuffs in particular did not turn out well. In the future with this ribbing I'll need to add extra length. Also I'm not sure I like how curvy the raglan curve appears, and the topstitching emphasizes it so I may skip it next time. Lastly this also was big on my son, even though I've been sewing 92 for all the patterns on him lately - mainly it was the neck width, the opening was almost coming off his shoulders. Overall, not a huge success but I think it still looks ok and is wearable, so all's well that ends ok.
