After replacing the supply caps and powering the amplifier up, the supply fuse blew again. Rooting around with a multimeter I found that the output transistors were blown in the left channel. Because BJTs in the large TO-3P package are starting to get rare, I didn't have many options to replace the 2SB817/2SD1047s that the amp ships with. I ended up with 2SA1962 / 2SC5242s as they have similar specs to the originals. Here they are mounted to the heatsink rail.
