Alexander Rodchenko who taught at Vkhutemas (just nearby) lived here and you surely saw it on many his shots. Two buildings have the same adress number today, I believe he lived in the one from the right, but could take the shots of both.
Also also here lived Robert Falk - one of my fav russian painters.
