Albino burmese python

Albino Burmese python (Python mulurus bivittatus) native to Burma, Vietnam and Thailand, considered one of the 6 biggest snakes in the world. They come in a staggering array of colors and patterns. This is arguably the most popular and attractive variation, bright orange and yellow, against a stark white background.

I held this one for a photo shoot but the snake had other ideas. Its head moved downwards and I could feel the contractions as the python moved. Pure muscle! I strained hard to keep it where it was for a few seconds for the photo to be taken. At Davao Crocodile Park, Philippines.
