Chapel Brow, Leyland, 1910c.

Looking up, towards the original chapel, which gave Chapel Brow it's name. ( Now Nat West Bank )

 

On the left, can be seen the glass globes, for the gas lights, on the front of the Co-op. Only Sutcliffe's jewellers had electricity....they generate their own !
