Sports Authority at Murrieta's Village Walk Plaza, this store opened 2008 alongside Bed, Bath and Beyond, Office Depot, Circuit City, Famous Footwear, BevMo! And Levitz furniture, now Levitz is Jerome's furniture, Party City remains closed as does Circuit City, now Sports Authority is on the verge of liquidation...
Sadly at this point, the store manager approached me and asked me why (he was actually friendly, not angry but curious) I was taking photos, I told him I was just taking some to archive since the store was going to close; he said "oh were not closing", I told him that I saw only that the store was going to liquidate and that I read that online (in the news) but he said "oh, don't believe the news", at this point I decided to leave (didn't buy anything) but I guess he's just being delusional, Sports Authority already decided to liquidate their remaining stores so yeah Eric, you're just rearranging deck chairs on the Costa Concordia...
