Day 1 of my road trip: After having driven for quite a long while through gravel roads, finally arriving at the majestic Rangitata Valley! The little hill you see in the centre right (see note) is Mt Sunday, from which I took quite a few photos, and which some of you will know as the capital city of Rowan (LOTR).
