TINTIN AND HADDOCK, ANARCHISTS OR TERRORISTS? With Haddock, it is a simple matter of what is known in German as ''SCHNAPS IDEEN'', something common with hardcore alcoholics: they suddenly have a ''flash of genius'', a strange impulse to do something very stupid. And they are convinced to be right and do the right thing, even when presented with facts to the contrary. They firmly believe to be right against the whole world. With Tintin it is more complex though, perhaps he believes himself to be some kind of a patriot. Who knows?
