Stockton depot Pulsar seen preparing to work an X5 to Loftus and then onwards to Middlesbrough and via Guisborough as a 5.
As from the 16th February 2014 this route will change in it's current form and will no longer serve Guisborough but will divert via Saltburn and Redcar to Middlesbrough.
The bit from Whitby to Loftus will be renumbered 4 and then from Loftus will be the X4 to Redcar and Middlesbrough, presumably to be ran by Redcar depot.
It's a shame that I will no longer be able to use this route to Whitby as it takes in some lovely sights like Sandsend and I can't remember a time when this route didn't run to Guisborough whether it was a 256 or X56 when I was younger to the present day 5/X5.
