Fuji X100 - Carrying it in a compact way

by Martin Budd

I like a camera to take up a fairly small amount of room, yet be well protected.

I find this arrangement works really well - on its own, slung over my shoulder, or tossed (yes, it feels safe enough to be *tossed*) into a bigger bag of some sort - courier bag, satchel, handlebar pack, daypack... choose your preferred bag.

Being able to put this little bundle into a regular, non-camera bag, also makes me look less like someone carrying a camera. No harm in that. Especially someone carrying a NICE camera.

This case is the Lowepro 1W lens case. I've carried my Contax G1 - a rangefinder-style camera very similar in size to the Fuji X100 - for 10 years like this and for me it works just right.

Try it!
