King, Quick & King Complex ~ Lowell, Michigan

King, Quick & King was a huge complex which included the east bank of the Flat River as well as two islands in the middle of the river. The circular saw & steam engine were housed here. Note the tramway exiting from the left which transported the lumber to the lumberyard on the island. Note also the water barrels on the roof.
