Wetherill Mesa Large Boulder Slab with Red Pigmentation Mesa Verde National Park ~ Colorado

We came across this questionable but interest slab with red pigmentation as we were letting the kids take a water break at an alcove we found. Maybe long ago the Ancestral People also did the same thing as they skinned the freshly killed game they catch before heading to their village. And oh, what a view from here, you can see from both directions.
