This image of Peter Navarre shows him in later years dressed up in clothing he once wore as a scout for General Harrison during the War of 1812. His father, Utreau Navarre, built the Navarre-Anderson Trading Post in 1789.
The Family lived along the River Raisin for over a decade then relocated to the Maumee. The rifle he is holding has been on display at the Toledo Library.
