Modelmadness
1971 GMC Flatbed. (AMT + Otherbits )
Unusual one for me this as I don't usually do patina or scratchbuild much, but I fancied doing something different.
The cab and front chassis was part of a built up custom GMC step side truck I bought off Ebay years ago.
I stripped it down and did nothing with it except throw it in a box with a broken 71 Blazer 4x4 and 71 Chevy Pickup.
I bought some liquid rust effect , painted the cab. Chopped the chassis in half and used the back of the 71 blazer chassis is its a seperate rail rather than the GMCs chassis plate .
I found some old monogram ford F350 Dually wheels, and disgarded planking from my dads model ship supplies.
The tail lights are from an AMT car transporter trailer and then mud flaps from a revell Peterbilt.
