1969 Ford Galaxy Convertible (AMT)

Bought Built up. Originally A fastback and the previous owner chopped the top. And the made a crude winds hiked frame and a shapeless piece plastic for the windshield.

It was painted sky blue , lots of faded chrome.

 

I stripped the paint . Turned it used to be red under the blue and under that it was gold. So this is its 4th coat .

 

I removed the crappy frame, cut the windshield frame section off a 4 door galaxy. Bare metal filed and polished up the bumpers .

 

Then made a windshield from plastic card.
