I sense sarcasm.

Over the past 30 years, since the Reagan revolution, the incomes of the top 1% have increased 55%. The bottom 90% decreased by .3%. Income tax rates are down overall since 1980, but regressive taxes like sales tax, gasoline tax, “sin” tax and yes, lottery tickets, those which affect the poor more than the wealthy, are constantly on the rise. Our lifestyles are being impacted; Unions are being destroyed; If an employee wants to fight for their rights, they risk losing pay and even their job. The wealthy are helping themselves to the majority of the wealth in this country, and then they are telling us that we need to blame the unions/immigrants/minorities. It’s the classic mantra of divide and conquer.
