Don Bluth Films That Never Made It
Back in the 1980s Don Bluth, The man behind such classics such as "The Land Before Time", " An American Tail", "All Dogs Go to Heaven", "Anastasia, and "Thumbelina" was planning on making two animated movies. The first was called "East of the Sun and West of the Moon" based on the Norwegian folktale of the same name en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_of_the_Sun_and_West_of_the_Moon but was never made due to financial problems. He was also planning on doing his take on the classic French fairy-tale "Beauty and The Beast" but was never made either. These are concept arts for both movies, and it make me wonder "Wouldn't it have been awesome if these movies where made" and it also makes me think that there are some many unused fairy-tales, folk tales, legends, myths, etc that Disney can turn into animated movies that can bring them back to their glorious "Renaissance Days" especially after the success of "Frozen".
