Proud Canadian

Taken over 25 years ago, here's "A Proud Canadian II" at a dock in Blue Rocks, Nova Scotia.

We spent the early morning in Inglisville (Annapolis County) searching for an old schoolhouse pictured on an antique stereo view card I had with me. Having no luck we decided to cross the province on RT 10 and go out to Blue Rocks and Stonehurst. The day was overcast but not foggy. If we aren't lucky enough to get fog along the shore in our travels, a sunless overcast day will do. Despite the lack of any breeze, the area was totally bugless, except for pollinating insects on flowers. The same cannot be said for the woodsy area around Inglisville, where black flies seemed to be holding some kind of convention (no mosquitoes though).

Taken with my new (at the time), Kodak P850, a 5MP point & shoot with image stabilization that took great pics. It was a step up from my old Kodak DX6490.
