No Sunday service, South Bend, Texas
This abandoned church in South Bend, Texas was definitely "structurally compromised" when this photo was taken in 2009. It's flat now, or at least as flat as a pile of weathered lumber and shingles could be. It was located beside a small abandoned motor court a few hundred yards from the intersection of RT 701 and RT 67 about 10 miles south of Graham. South Bend was originally named "Arkansas", but was changed to its present name years later. Mail sent to someone in 'Arkansas, Texas" must have generated some confusion in being routed to its recipient in the days long before postal codes were adopted.
