What is Anonymous?

Anonymous is a group of unknown hackers formed on imageboards such as 4chan. By using social media, Anonymous is able to organize widely publicized protests against Westboro Baptist Church, bring the Egyptian Ministry of Information and President offline, and release documents from Bank of America to prove their corruption.

 

This video shows how there is no organizational structure within this community formed online. The results they produce are incredible.
