6 months into SELNEC PTE ownership, PBU954 still looked like a member of the Oldham fleet when this iffy picture was taken, in Manchester's Piccadilly on 16 May 1970, whilst a protest march was going on in the background.

PBU954 was a Northern Counties H37/28R bodied Leyland Titan PD2/30, dating from 1958. Its tin front had a grille panel of a style peculiar to Oldham.
