Turning Three Shades of Red
I’ve had the opportunity to see and photograph many beautiful buildings and places on my travels around Spain and Portugal. However, this is probably my favorite photograph of the trip, so far. There is just something about it that captured me. I remember specifically taking the photo and that I had to sit on the steps of Iglesia de Santiago for quite a while waiting on a cloud to pass over and soften the sunlight a bit. While I was waiting there a couple of large tour groups passed by following their leaders like sheep, staring at the leaders’ sign and their little maps, rapidly taking photos of the church and all looking at me and then in the direction I was facing, wondering what I was doing with my little tripod set up and focused away from the church and on this rather drab old building. Well, I hope you enjoy.
