here is a picture for my honeymoon album which I have yet to finish. But, this is a great page for it.
Journaling: wanted to buy a shell necklace right away. I am pictured in our room at the Coco palms with it on. I also wanted freshwater pearls. I really wanted Mike to buy me black pearls neckalace as a rememberance, they were $600. My Dad bought my Mom Jewelry and she always bought here self jewelry when the traveled. So, Duh! Shopping and hinting lead to disappointment, fatigue, and no perals. I also wanted to buy my Mother black pearls as a thank her for the nice wedding. What did she say when I got home? "There was so much going on, I meant to tell you buy and bring me back black pearls, I would have paid you back". I should have listened to my inner voice and bought the pearls.
Mike and I went to the Market Place for lunch and to look for the Makaha sons of Niihau recording. We dragged a tape player to Hawaii, We bought "Live at Hank's Place", listened to the tape and it was not "Kiss me Love". Yes - we dragged a tape player over 4,000 miles.
