Lift Off!
We were traveling that morning after taken photographs of a cooperative Ferruginous Hawk and came across this Rough Legged Hawk on a post. We slowly edged towards the post and took some snaps. I clipped the wings on a couple frames, but was able to find a decent keeper. The snowy mountain in the background was a nice addition lending the shot some depth.
