Penrhyn Castle

Penrhyn Castle is a country house in Llandegai, North Wales, built between 1820 and 1840 in the form of a Norman castle.

Originally a medieval fortified manor house stood here. The building was expanded and transformed beyond recognition into what we see today.

The Penrhyn Estate was built on the fortunes made from Jamaican sugar and local slate quarries.
