GWR Castle 4079 'Pendennis Castle', in lovely afternoon light, crosses Bewdley South Viaduct at the head of the 16.10 Bridgnorth - Kidderminster service on 15th April 2023 during the SVR Spring Steam Gala. The SVR's rake of GWR carriages had been temporarily withdrawn due to safety concerns, so their LNER rake of teak bodied coaches were closest contemporary rake for the 1924 built Castle.
