LNER B1 61306 'Mayflower' accelerates through Leamington Spa in 70 degree heat with the 1Z38 13:04 Oxford Parkway to Oxford Parkway 'circular' on 27th May 2021. This trip by Steam Dreams was a 'fill in' trip utilising the layover time of the London - Oxford Steam Dreams day trip. The 'circular' trip was originally routed from Oxford via Didcot, Greenford and the Chilterns back to Oxford. This was impossible due to the closure of Nuneham Viaduct hence the revised routing from Oxford to Dorridge via Bicester and return with the train being turned on Hatton triangle to ensure Mayflower headed the train for the majority of the route.
