CR McIntosh Class 439 0-4-4T 419 climbs slowly away from Shackerstone, Battlefield Line, on some freshly relaid track, with the 12.30 Shackerstone - Shenton on 24th April 2022. During the close season the Battlefield Line excavated nearly 1/4 mile of waterlogged track at Shackerstone, installing a new sub base layer, drains, membranes and ballast.
