British origins are evident in the outline of JGR (Japanese Government Railway) Class 1070 4-4-2T 1080 (Built by Dubs Glasgow 1901) as it stands inside the roundhouse at Kyoto Railway Museum on 30th March 2019. 1080 as originally built was a 4-4-0 Class 6200 tender locomotive.
