6233 ATHERSTONE 8588 DE-
Apart from the incongruous 'Cornish Riviera Limited' headboard, 6233 'Duchess of Sutherland' looks at home on the WCML as it passes the LNWR station buildings at Atherstone whilst working the 5Z44 10:15 Carnforth Steamtown to Southall WCR engine & POB movement on 24th May 2019.
Unfortunately 6233 subsequently suffered a hot box on the right trailing bogie and was stopped at Rugby. The plan was then to carry out repairs to enable 6233 to move to Butterley where the offending axlebox could be removed.
