RILEY RESCUE: LMS Black 5 44871 hurries through Atherstone with the 08:27 5V44 engine & POB positioning move on 3rd October 2018. 44871 was replacing B1 61306, which is still being overhauled at Carnforth, to run in tandem with Flying Scotsman on its trip to Cornwall later in the week..The use of 'Riley Rescue' Black 5s as cover on Autumn railtours in Southern England has become a regular occurrence. 45212 covered in 2017, 44871 & 45407 in 2016 and 45407 in 2015.
