The sun shines through the glazing of York station's iconic arched roof to illuminate LMS Jubilee 4-6-0 45699 'Galatea' as it draws into platform 5 with the final 'Scarborough Spa Express' of the 2017 season on 14th September 2017.

Galatea has single handedly worked the steam hauled sections of all the Scarborough Spa Expresses during 2017 and also worked one of the summer York - Carlisle 'Waverley' railtours.
