4965 SHAKESPEARE EXPRESS

The driver of ex GWR Hall 4-6-0 4965 'Rood Ashton Hall' eases the regulator slightly as the 1T52 16:18 Stratford on Avon - Birmingham Snow Hill 'Shakespeare Express' climbs past Enstone Aquaduct on the North Warwickshire line on 17th July 2016.

This was the first day of operation of the season for the Shakespeare Express with the Stratford - Birmingham sections being unusually routed via the North Warwickshire line due to engineering work around Hatton.
