J72 0-6-0T 69023 'Joem' pilots S15 4-6-0 825 away from Goathland with the 16:30 Grosmont - Pickering service on 8/5/2013 during the NYMR 40th Anniversary Gala. Attached to the rear of the train was the 'Old Gentleman's Coach' loaned from the KWVR. This allowed both 69023 and the saloon coach to move to Pickering to undertake a shuttle service from Pickering to Levisham the following day, allowing the scheduled 08:30 for 69023 and saloon from Grosmont to Pickering planned for 9/5/13, to be cancelled.
