THE ORIGINAL POCKET ROCKET: Built by Beyer Peacock for the LSWR in 1874, Beattie 2-4-0WT 30587 is a suprisingly strong locomotive and with 5'7" driving wheels has a good turn of speed. Here 30587 approaches Norchard High Level DFR with the late running 12:55 Parkend - Lydney Junction mixed local service on 9th July 2016 during the DFR's Flour Mill Steam Gala.
