The rusting hulk of Class 45 45015 begins to merge with the surrounding vegetation on the long storage siding at Shackerstone, Battlefield Line, 23rd October 2015.
Built as 'Peak' Class 1-Co-Co-1 D14 outshopped from Derby on 24/11/1960 45015 was withdrawn from BR stock in March 1986, finally arriving at Shackerstone on 23/10/2002. 45015 is not expected to return to working condition.
