53809 HORSTED KEYNES

Exhaust tinged by the setting sun, ex S&DJR 7F 2-8-0 53809 climbs the last half mile into Horsted Keynes with the final northbound Sheffield Park - Kingscote service on 18/10/2008 during the Bluebell Railway's 'Giants of Steam' weekend. Both are sadly missed, with 53809 currently undergoing overhaul at MRC Butterley and the 'Giants of Steam' no longer a part of the Bluebell Railway's Special Events calendar.
