Lucky Pup Rescue
0130 - Tori now Lulu - February 2009 (2 - AFTER)
Happy Ending!
Tori (now Lulu) is one lucky pup! She and her brothers came here in the fall of 2008, and Tori and Tanner were fostered for many months before they were adopted into wonderful homes. Tori is now the mascot of the "Wooly Mamas" knitting group! You go girl!
She was adopted in February of '09. Tori's mom says, "We are so thrilled with our new addition. It was a treat meeting Tanner and Tori, total loves, the two of them, two black bookends as sweet as can be. At first I thought the choice might be tough; which one to adopt??? But I really fell head-over-heels for Tori. Easy choice after all! But now for the really amusing part! We were so worried about possible trepidations toward men, HA. Tori picked Robert as her best bud IMMEDIATELY, and has been glued to his leg ever since her arrival here a couple hours ago!! He loves her too. He jokingly said to me, "Gee, maybe you can get a dog for yourself next time." I don't know how dogs know male and female, but I think she is leaning on him in the absence of her two male dog buddies. I'm not worried; she will feel at home soon enough.
And we didn't know what the reaction to cats would be either. (For that matter, I was worried my cat His Royal Highness wouldn't approve of the new dog.) Nick calmly met Tori at the door, they kissed, they turned away, end of story. They are going to be good partners.
Thank you all for making it possible to bring home this lovely dog. I will give you more updates as time goes on."
