A2 at Newcastle

Peppercorn A2 60538 Velocity stands outside Newcastle Central station in the 1950’s awaiting its next duty. Built in 1948, it was allocated to Gateshead, Heaton, and Tweedmouth sheds before being withdrawn off the latter in November 1962.
