From Philly FBI:
The Philadelphia Police Department and the FBI are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate a subject believed to be responsible for at least four recent bank robberies, including one earlier today of the TD Bank at 4020 City Avenue. The same subject is also believed to be responsible for the robberies of the Citizens Bank branch at 6052 Ridge Avenue on September 3rd, the Wells Fargo branch at 6918 Ridge Avenue on September 1st, and the Continental Bank branch at 7133 Ridge Avenue on August 29th.
In each of the robberies, the subject presented a threatening demand note to a teller and indicated that he was armed with a gun. No gun was visible or displayed. In each of the robberies, the subject fled the area of the bank on foot after obtaining cash. There have been no physical injuries in any of these robberies.
The subject is described as a white male in his 20’s, 5’7” to 5’9” tall, with a very thin build. The subject has worn hats and/or hooded sweatshirts in each of the robberies.
This subject is considered armed and dangerous. A picture from the robbery of the Citizens Bank branch at 6052 Ridge Avenue on September 3rd is attached to this email.
Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There may be a reward for information leading to this subject’s capture, and tipsters can remain anonymous.
