METAL SOUVENIR BOX, ATLANTA EXPO 1895

A beautiful metal box elaborately made as a souvenir of the fair. This piece is a cast metal box with a hinged lid. The sides of the round box have a fancy repousse design of roses and an odd little curved handle. The lid is engraved with a center floral motif and "Atlanta Exposition 1895". The box measures 3 1/8" across and 1" high. There are no maker's markings.
