Time Machine

I went back in time! Kiiind of. When I finished this av, I thought, gee, I wish I could take pictures of her in S.I.C.! For those who don't remember it, S.I.C. was a really cool future distopia sim with its own combat. There were even robots to fight, if you weren't so keen on PvP.

So how'd I get my fancy new duds into the past for this photo? It's simple! Turn an old photo into a backdrop. There are plenty of photobooths out there, but I usually make mine the old fashioned way. This one was just two cylinders- one hollowed out, the other as the floor, and both set to fullbright. Really, really simple. If you want shadows as well, you can sometimes set the floor as not fullbright and cheat the backdrop and ground colors together with windlight adjustments.
