I'm no stranger to that eerie light that sometimes pervades the moments leading up to sunrise. Depending on atmospheric conditions, however, the light can take on more than a smidgen of stark otherworldlyness.
Again (referring to a previous post), the sun hasn't yet appeared on the horizon in this image - but not only that: some jiggery-pokery to do with high-level moisture levels has created this bizarre scene, a quality of light somewhat unique in all my experience.
Apologies for yet another photograph of the Mamore area (this one is more than six years old, though), recent visits have rekindled an unhealthy obsession. :)
