Yes, a number of you will immediately be thinking you've seen this posted recently. Yes & no: I was a tad hasty with the original & done it a couple of disservices. Also, the version above is a technically different photo altogether, having been captured a minute or so earlier (big deal!).
The composition has been reconsidered with more care - & I feel the slight shift has alleviated a certain aspect which I felt jarred a little. The 'levels' have been tweaked, hopefully without 'going to town'!
I felt that this moment in time was exceptional ('exceptional' to someone like me who often mistakenly assumes they've seen it all in the hills), & that it deserves a better interpretation (get over yourself!).
I'll greatly welcome any thoughts. Thanks, all.
