Sgùrr Èilde Mòr & Coire an Lochain
. . . with a hint of alpenglow at the point of sunrise.
Again, not sure the 'centered' composition is everybody's cup of tea.
Coire an Lochain is a very special place to me.
Many moons ago, I huffed 'n' puffed my way up to this spot & pitched my 'wee green coffin' (tent) on the largest peninsula you can see. It was March & high pressure had taken a grip. Arguably the best time of the year, winter snows dominated the surrounding high peaks, whilst nature was bursting to life at lower elevations. I remember the welcome din of meadow pipit & skylark getting down to business all around. That evening I sat as the sun bid goodnight & revelled in the magic of it all.
