A pleasant light dusting of powdery snow on the tops went a little way to offset what has been a frankly poor festive season for those seeking the out white stuff. Only the big guns at Nevis & the Cairngorms hold on to respectable coverings, as things stand. A very dispiriting winter so far.
I liked this little 'huddle' of rocks, & put it to use as a complimentary foreground to the glorious array of the Kintail & Affric tops.
