Sandhamn was selected as one of the best secret islands on earth by the travel magazine Travel + Leisure. If you've read the Millenium Trilogy books by Stieg Larsson you may recognise Sandhamn as the place where the crusading journalist character Mikael Blomkvist had his summer house.
