*Secret sewing - not so secret any more!
I've been working on this since about June and it's been on my FAL list for the past two quarters as a secret sewing project. I've finally finished it and given it to my friend so am no longer in fear that she'll accidentally uncover my plotting...
I'm sure she'll hang them a little more elegantly than this on her (beautiful) Edwardian mantelpiece but this was the best I could do...
Stitched on 32 count evenweave using perle 12 and 8 (for the hardanger) and DMC stranded cotton for the cross stitch.
