Specialization Is for Insects (or Why I Became a Design Consultant)

10:20 am - 11:20 am MDT on Sunday, June 30, 2013

Murray Moss has been recently described as “no ordinary mortal, but one who has defined the design decade, who helps to see how we see objects.” Designing, he suggests, is an activity which involves, at its core, questioning, and is therefore difficult to define in absolute terms, one of the questions being, what is design? or worse, what is Good Design? His enlightening presentation will inspire a heightened appreciation for the distinctions between Art and Design, function and aesthetic, utility and soul.
