The Aspen Institute Economic Opportunities Program hosted a Working in America event, "I Am Not a Tractor: A Book Talk and Discussion on Worker-Driven Social Responsibility,” on February 9, 2018. Panelists at the event – including RAND’s Susan L. Marquis, CIW’s Greg Asbed and Gerardo Reyes Chavez, Sunripe Certified Brand’s Jon Esformes, and former New York Times reporter Steven Greenhouse – discussed worker-driven social responsibility strategies, with a specific focus on the work of the Coalition of Immokalee Workers through the Fair Food Program in Florida.
